I just arrived back to Charlottesville after spending most of the summer at the beach.  
 The kids wanted to get a movie and I realized that Hollywood Video has been replaced with 
Anthropologie. 
 Grand Opening August 21.

I am sure that many of my readers are thrilled with the opening of this Chain Store…and I must admit that I enjoyed walking in and taking a sneak peek at the new store.

BUT

Please remember…..our local boutiques. 
For example, I saw the new AG Cords (my favorite) at Anthropologie–but… maybe you should think about buying those cords from Eloise, a local boutique, owned by local people.

OR

Be sure to stop at Scarpa after buying a cute dress from Anthropologie. They have AMAZING shoes. 
 I saw some very cool cowboy boots through the window this evening.
