As seen in this month's VOGUE
(This is pretty cool)
Beatrix Ost, aka Trixie…a Charlottesville Local
is the inspiration behind the Olson Twins new line of clothing
"The collection, inspired by the German artist, Beatrix Ost, was made almost entirely in black silk, leather and cashmere, leavened with dark navy python skin, cream, and the occasional, narrow brown belt, the collection focused on ankle-length, flowing skirts and easy, straight-leg trousers, sometimes knotted at the waist, in black silk crepe de chine, paired with straight-cut tops in the same fabric".
I am just wondering–you ISN"T this woman an inspiration for
My muse….Your muse
She is lovely
AND
O how lucky we are to have her as a Local Charlottesville Lady!
Be sure to check out her work at Les Yeux du Monde Gallery

Beatrix Ost, is creative, stylish, beautiful, kind and very opened minded.YAH for our town to have this incredible lady! This I know, Brian and I met her in her in Kim’s (her daughter in law) amazingly lovely, hip and stylish shop, Petit Bebe. Also Beatrix wrote a book, Brian and I got her signature and we do
indeed feel very SPECIAL! P/S Both Beatrix & Petit Bebe have clothes to die for!
So the fact she inspired a collection of clothes doesn’t surprise me in the least……Just can not wait to see what Beatrix does next……
THANK YOU BEATRIX, what a breath of FRESH, WONDERFUL, KIND, FUN, STIMULATING, once again OPEN MINDED & Exciting air! Just what the doctor ordered:)
Can’t wait to see her paintings, on TIPPY TOES!
Trixie is a very remarkable woman – Renaissance in the truest sense. Cheers to her many creative legacies!
To see a little more of her, she will be showing a set of her heart multiples in May in Chroma Projects Art Laboratory’s show: “DISCLOSED:Drawing from Life”
