and GEORGE and the Pomegranate
Christy Ford, founder of AND GEORGE in Ivy, is someone you must meet.
Christy is a dear friend, but also an inspiration.
When you enter the store, all of the senses are stimulated.
You will want everything from the antiques, to the lighting, to the clothing, to the music being played to the smells….EVERYTHING!
One of the little secrets I will share with you-took several years of knowing Christy to uncover.
And finally….
after years of convincing, she is selling this item in her store.
I could not figure out why, when Christy, who has 3 children under the age of 3, 2 dogs and a husband has a house and a store that smells so wonderful.
When you walk into her house, the windows and doors are open, a gentle breeze is flowing through the house….and the wet doggie smell that usually shows up in Charlottesville during these summer months, when the air conditioning isn't on, doesn't exist.
